How to add music to instagram Story

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Instagram allows users to add music to their Stories. To add music to your Instagram Story, you can follow these steps:

• Open Instagram: Launch the Instagram app on your smartphone and ensure you are logged in to your account.
• Start Creating a Story: To create a new Story, swipe right from your Instagram feed or tap your profile picture at the top-left of the home screen.
• Capture a Photo or Video: You can either capture a photo or record a video by tapping the white circle at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively, you can choose a photo or video from your camera roll by swiping up or tapping the gallery icon (a square with a mountain inside).
• Access the Music Library:
  • After capturing or selecting your photo or video, you'll see various icons and options at the top of the screen. One of these options is the "Stickers" icon, which looks like a square smiley face.
  • Tap the "Stickers" icon to open a list of available stickers.
• Add Music:
  • In the stickers menu, you should see an option called "Music" or "Music Sticker." Tap on it.
• Search for a Song:
  • You can search for a specific song or browse through the music library to find a song you want to add to your Story.
  • Instagram provides options for searching by song name, artist, or genre.
• Select the Song:
  • Once you've found the song you want to use, tap on it to add it to your Story.
• Customize the Music:
  • You can customize how the music appears on your Story. You can move and resize the lyrics, choose a specific part of the song to play, and change the style of the lyrics.
• Post Your Story: After you've added the music to your Story and customized it as desired, you can proceed to post it by tapping the "Your Story" button at the bottom of the screen.

Your Instagram Story will now include the selected music. When viewers watch your Story, they can tap on the music sticker to see more information about the song and listen to it. Keep in mind that Instagram's features and interfaces may change over time, so if you're using a version of the app released after my last update in September 2021, there might be slight differences in the process.

Instagram is a social media platform that allows users to share photos and videos with their followers. The app was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger in October 2010, and was initially only available on iOS. However, it quickly gained popularity, and in 2012, Facebook acquired the company for approximately $1 billion USD.

Kevin Systrom, one of the co-founders, was born in San Francisco in 1983. He attended Stanford University, where he studied management science and engineering. After graduation, he worked at Google before leaving to pursue his own projects. Systrom created a photo-sharing app called Burbn, which he later renamed Instagram.

Mike Krieger, the other co-founder, was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1986. He attended Stanford University as well, where he studied symbolic systems. Krieger met Systrom while taking a class on entrepreneurship, and they later teamed up to create Instagram together.

Since its creation, Instagram has grown to over one billion monthly active users, making it one of the most popular social media platforms in the world.
